"I'm a huge Dan Balmer fan, have been for years and believe he's one of the most underrated jazz artists out there today. This double CD (for the price of one!) set is his best yet. He mixes in a fine combination of new grooves, old styles, experimental and straight ahead jazz. I have all of Dan's CDs and believe this is the best. Why? He's stretching his talents a little more. I felt "I Hope So" was too commerically driven, too plain and not a true showcase of his talents. This CD takes off and Dan shows why he's one of the top jazz guitarists anywhere. He challenges himself, reaches to his artistic abilities on this CD and it pays off.I've been fortunate to see Dan in concert a number of times and for those who haven't, I highly recommend it. And for those who don't live in the Northwest, try and get Dan to your area or catch him live over here. He's a dynamic performer."
