"Jurado's earlier attempts, in particular "Rehearsals For Departure" were complete successes- "Postcards and Audio Letters," however, is the worst purchase I have ever made. Amazon.com fails to mention that this is a spoken-word CD- far beyond the reaches of Jurado's poetic license as a virtual nobody in the music world. Everybody should own some Jurado. Nobody should own this this particular Jurado."

"Even though this CD doesn't contain Damiens amazing songs and poetic lyrics, it does give the listener and sneak preview into the "Americana lovestory" of Jurado's music. Every song I've heard Jurado sing sounds as if he's lived our expeirenced them. This CD doesn't contain any of his music but it does contain the ghoastly realism that also exsists in his music. This CD allows the listener to look at each situtation and possibly create a song of their own.It's a shame that this expierement hasn't been well received."
