"Toby Reynolds (DJ Scud) along with Jason Skeet (Aphasic) are talented producers of the Ambush Label and this defining sound called splatterbreaks/harshstep/drill&bass". In a time of stagnation in the crossover genres, this sound combines destruction, vengeful dreadlocks, gunshots, carcrashes and amphetamine induces snares creating music that cannot be stopped, even with the most powerful countermeasures. Mortal Clash is a workout if your body can keep up and a great anthem to prepare you for a day of wreckless endangerment. For those artists who consider themselves producers of "drill&bass" (you know who) cannot come close to the post-apocalyptic soundclash that Ambush creates. I-Sound who is responsible for several tracks, is a NY Veteran of musique-concrete and experimental sound creations. He cannot be compared and creates other more atmospheric sounds than Mortal Clash.
