Synopsis

Album Description
Hailing from Los Angeles, DJ Revolution is best known for his nationally syndicated Hip Hop radio show with Sway & King Tech ? The Wakeup Show. Aside from his featured appearances on Sway & King Tech?s This or That CD, Revolution has also released two CDs of his own: R2K Vol. 1.0, in 1999 and In 12"s We Trust in 2000. As the perfect closure to the High Fidelity series, DJ Revolution takes us once more on a journey into his realm of classic breaks, funk cuts, rare loops and all-around turntablistic skills, mixed and remixed in an unprecedented style. He cuts and samples classic funk, soul and rock 45s as well as film soundtracks before laying the mix down personally while using the latest equipment. To be listened to at high volume, The ABC?s of High Fidelity is a magnificent musical journey!

Rev goes Diggin'
Dj Bootleg | St. Charles, IL USA | 06/09/2005
(5 out of 5 stars)

"Dj Revolution is a turntable mastermind. On this 53 min mix he digs deep into the crates to create a funky, soul-filled, fun mix. The track listing reads like this: "Yeah, Right like I'm going to tell Ya'll my secrets. If you want the answers you have to get your fingers dusty. Do you homework Suckas!". There are actually 55 tracks ranging in length from 0:29 to 3:24. This is a well done exploration into classic breaks with sharp scratches guiding the way."
