"Finally, Marky & XRS have released their first album unto the world of drum n' bass. This isn't an album full of raging anthems of course, it's more along the lines of the groundbreaking "New Forms" released in 1997 by Roni Size and Reprezant. If you can dig this more accessible approach to drum n'bass then you wont have a problem loving this album.



My only complaint is that the album is unmixed, and I prefer my drum n bass mixed. However, it works in it's own way, not to mention it is the best proper musical album out of the drum n' bass scene since 2001's Desert Rose by the infamous DJ SUV.



The tracks are very soulful throughout, though not necessarily complex with the drum work. The so called brasillian sound is strong on some and not as strong on others, but present thru spirit throughout the album. No one will be disappointed by this album, and if you are in search of quality sounding drum n'bass that's intelligent but doesnt put you to sleep and can be played in your headphones or at the club, then IN ROTATION is essential to your record collection."
