Synopsis

Album Description
One of the legendary innovators of dance music, DJ Garth is a name that carries weight far beyond the US West Coast he calls home. Hailing from London's exploding scene, he first gained notoriety as member of the notorious Wicked Crew, whose 1997 single "Twenty Minutes of Disco Glory" became a worldwide anthem. Being the first from his group to move to San Francisco, Garth started the now legendary full-moon parties that helped put San Francisco on the global dance map. As an accomplished producer, Garth was named one of the "Top 10 Producers to Watch", alongside David Morales and Sean 'Puffy'/?P-Diddy? Combs in Muzik Magazine in 1997. Garth's uncompromising style keeps him in demand, regularly playing renowned clubs and large festivals across the U.S. and around the world. Garth has become a sought after remixer, completing an eclectic bag of projects including Tribe Called Quest, Jane?s Addiction?s Perry Farrell, Faithless, Nick Holder, amongst many others. With this follow-up CD to 2000?s seminal The Cisco System, this innovator presents his own original songs alongside a diverse collection of tracks he personally signed to his label, Grayhound Recordings. This album also includes a rare, previously vinyl-only remix of his original mega single, "Twenty Minutes of Disco Glory."
