Worst Album Ever
Tommy Dreamer | 12/02/2006
(1 out of 5 stars)

"This is quite possibly the worst album ever made. The only difference between D4L and A.C. is that A.C. is actually deliberately cr@p, whereas these guys are actually trying.

To figure out just how bad this album really is, all one has to do is listen to Laffy Taffy. The reason for this is that every song on this CD sounds almost identical. Same song structure, same two note beats. Laffy Taffy has to be one of the worst songs I have ever heard. The whole song consists of a two note beat. The only variation to this is the same two note pattern transposed a tone downwards. Not exactly a masterpiece of composition. There are no intruments in the whole album, it's all synthesised, but really bad quality synth, like a midi file. The rapping just sounds like a drunken slur and lyrics like "shake your laffy taffy" have been done before literally thousands of times. They desperately try to look all "gangsta", as evident from the cover art, but in the end just end up looking like a bunch of clowns. This "gangsta" nonsense has been done a million times before by much more talented groups like N.W.A. The only reason this sells is that ignorant preteens wouldn't know anything else apart from what they see in the top 20 charts, so really don't have anything good to compare this with. In the end, D4L just show themselves to be a bunch of amateurs doing everything that their record company tells them. This is the epitome of watered-down, corporate, meaningless, talentless, unoriginal, mass produced garbage that won't be remembered for anything else apart from being a useless fad. This is the sort of group that you used to listen to when you were a preteen and knew nothing about music, and just look back on and think "what the hell was I thinking?". Hell, you only have to look at the cover art to realise that. This album contains the usual nonsense like bragging about how rich they are which is total cr@p considering this is their first album so they hadn't actually made any money yet while writing it. Unfortunately, the average rap fan is to dumb to realise this and just eat up all the garbage that the media feeds them.

These guys would like you to believe they are "down" for life. More like down for 15 minutes of fame."
I agree with everyone else

"I am a man who loves his classic rock, but I don't shun modern music. However though, I just hate bands like these who add Absolutly nothing to to the music scene other than giving people urges to gouge their ears out. This is just terrible. Laffy Taffy is the worst song of the year.

We need some good music to come out. I can't say that much, other than this stuff will be on it's way. Read the other reviews as well, they all know what they are talking about, but I am just adding the back up, for the sake of power in numbers."
THESE GUYS SUCK
