Synopsis

Album Description
After their first two Country-Punk-albums Call Of The Wild and D.A.D Draws A Circle the Danes, formerly Disneyland After Dark, handed out a killer titled No Fuel Left For The Pilgrims, which is just plain fun, no arguments about that. Already the opener 'Sleeping My Day Away' is to this very day a classic in Rock-pubs and has made D.A.D. immortal. Just like on the follow-up 'Riskin' It All' the two Binzer-brothers create rather simple, but so very effective songs, which are directly going into your blood and legs, without any detour, you don't have to think too much and I can quote myself from that review: "where other bands try to find a way around to search for the door, D.A.D just don't hesitate and break right through the wall!" And this snotty attitude makes the Danish quartet so sympathetic, they do not take themselves seriously (just think of the hilarious stage-settings) and the lyrics (put down in a rather unconventional writing, which here and there makes it a little hard to decipher) again are hilarious, the whole thing is just good-moon-Rock'n'Roll. 2005.

"Found an old notebook with Headbanger Ball playlists written in it. Jumped online and found D.A.D. again after all these years. I owned this cassette and loved it (actually still have the cassette in a crate, I just don't have anything that plays cassettes anymore). Distinctive vocals and sound you'll love it too."
