CD Reviews

Cydonia Rocks!!!
hybridindigo | India | 02/20/2004
(4 out of 5 stars)

"Sci-Fi Mechanics along with Maiden Type Vocals And Wonderfully crafted Guitar Solos. That about sums up Cydonia. It doesn't contain rip-roaring music but what it contains is a fine example of excellent musicianship. Cydonia combines good lyrics, clean and crisp vocals with great basslines and drumming. The Guitar work is flashy and well done. Over All A Great buy. You won't be dissappointed. Metallica sized riffs along with Maiden type rhythm guitaring, this italian band does it all. If you like this then most probably you'll also like Helloween. My Suggestion : Try BOTH!!!"
A great italian band....

"This is one of many bands that appears in the great italian metal music movement.... They make an excellent progressive metal music like their predecessor band: Labÿrinth... The vocals are played by Dan Keying (a great vocalist that reminds me Michael Kieske of Helloween), the bass guitar is played by Trevor O'Neal, the guitars played by Steve Sguario and the colaboration of Olaf Thörsen (Labÿrint's guitar) in the rhythm guitar and also the production of the CD, the keyboards played by Lee Crow, and the drums played by Mat Stancioiu who is the Labÿrinth's drummer and one of the best drummer I ever heard because he is influenced by death metal drummers like Gene Hoglan and Sean Reinert.... If you're a big fan of the great movement in the italian metal, you have to buy this CD."
