"when i 1st got this many years back i was waiting an hoping for yet another great b'side and i got that with the song halo! the cure have always been known to have great b'sides and halo has to be their best! this is worth the price alone! the cd also contains the album version of friday/strangelove mix of friday(wich i think is better than the album version)/halo(their best b'side and one of their best songs! /scared as you(another good b'side)"
A great single to listen to when in love

""Friday I'm In Love" is a great single that I would recommend to anyone who likes The Cure. "Friday I'm In Love" has a lush guitar and a great chorus. The lyrics can get a little redundant but then again isn't falling in love the same? "Halo" is defiantly the main reason to buy this single. It is arguably The Cure's best b-side and would make it on my list of favorite Cure songs. The lyrics are very beautifully written. "Scared As You" is a little lacking in something but still good. "Friday I'm In Love(Strangelove mix)" only takes one listen to skip the next time. I am not a fan of Remixes so I guess I really can't judge. Nonetheless "Friday I'm In Love" is an essential single for "Friday I'm In Love" and "Halo." This single is a fresh breather from depressing heartbreak Cure songs."
Friday I'm in love: the perfect guitare song

"I first heard Friday I'm in love in my parent's car back somewhere around 1993. What a feeling I had. Every beautiful things about pop music, and particularly about The Cure is in that silly single. What I prefer in music is to decompose a song and to listen again and again forever on. I think I listened to Friday I'm in love a billion times, trying to figure out how all those guitares where taking each others on, listening to the crooning voice of Robert Smith and all the funny screams he did. And the lyrics are gorgeous. To me, Friday I'm in love is the picture of Love in itself: fun, deep, red and blue -- like the album's cover. Also, there is 3 others songs on the single: Halo is a perfect B-side with heartlight lyrics. Scared as you is quite good for its inherent violence. And then again, Friday I'm in love is throwed in a remix form: another way to explore all the guitares and pieces of that mad puzzle that is Friday I'm in love."
