"The coolest thing about this album, aside from it being the only place to get "The Witch" at the time, is the packaging. After 'Sonic Temple' and 'Ceremony', "The Witch" seemed like a new band, yet alone a new style. Killer tunes, of course, even better than Warner Brothers lame attempt at ending their contract with 'High Octane Cult', which was only worthy for having "Beauty's On The Streets" and "In The Clouds". 'Pure Cult' was the real deal. Of course, it's been updated and changed to include tracks from 'The Cult' as well as "In The Clouds", but the original hits comp will always be a cool release because the packaging is full of press clippings detailing the growth of the band in England and the US.
And it has "Earth Mofo" on it.Tommy MacLuckie"
