Synopsis

Album Description
Birthday is the second consecutive Billboard #1 single from the album "DreamCypher." Birthday has proven to be a fan favorite all over the world (particularly in China; a video of the band performing the song in Beijing was widely circulated online) and as always, the band is eager to please their fans. In addition to the title track there are two remixes (a radio edit and a club mix) plus a brand new song ("The Eighth Square"). To top it off, the band is including one of their fanbase's top requests: a performance of the song White Rabbit, which was part of the Cruxshadows live show for several years but until now has never appeared on any of their recordings.

CD Reviews

Real good EP
Medea Drago | Salem, Mass | 01/14/2008
(4 out of 5 stars)

"I am a big fan of the Cruxshadows. So when this CD came out I had to get it. I love the song Birthday and I like the remixes. It is such an uplifting song for me. But the highlight was the redone version of "White Rabbit." Rogue's voice is so haunting in that song, its awesome. I've never heard the Jefferson Airplanes' version though. I just wish that song was longer.

Anyway, it was a good EP, and I'm glad i got it. for those who have never listened to the CXS before I wouldn't recommend it. I'd suggest getting one of their full length albums, like Wishfire or DreamCypher."
