"This is a piece of east bay punk history. If you were there when it was all going on, this album is indispensable to you as a reminder of the excitement of the late 80's east bay punk scene. As far as the music goes... it is played by very talented individuals, and the song writing is excellent. They also exhibit an energy and emotion that is unrivaled in all of music. However, they are sloppy and often miss notes on the guitars, and are not very "together." Also the singers stray horribly off-key, which is OK for a punk band but can't really say if it was intentional (sounds awful at times). As far as the recording quality... it is terrible. I've made more clear-sounding recordings with my band using the microphone on an answering machine (you know, push the button then start recording your outgoing message?)... and we were a terrible band. You can barely make out the music at times. Even by punk standards, it is pretty awful. So long as you can put up with the negative aspects, you will find treasures buried underneath them."
