CD Reviews

Crawler?
James G. Martin | Edmond, OK USA | 08/17/2000
(3 out of 5 stars)

"That is what I normally get from people when I first mention the 70s rock group CRAWLER. I once got a gift certificate for my birthday from a buddy's mom. $10 bought Crawler self-titled, Stallion Self-titled, and Billion Dollar Babies (Alice's old band gone solo) 8-track tapes! Try that now. I have long since lost those tapes or they broke or melted in the blazing Oklahoma sun. But I always remembered the Bluesy Rock style of Crawler. I have searched the net up and down and finally have it pay dirt. Stone Cold Sober was even a minor hit in its day. It is recorded live, not as good in my opinion as the studio version. But hey, this is the only CRAWLER that I know on CD. So, if you remember them or have an older brother that does, buy it. Lot of songs for the $. Not as good a deal as 3 eight tracks for a ten spot, but hey that's inflation."
Find the studio version of Stone Cold Sober

"If you are looking for Stone Cold Sober on CD in it's original Studio version you can find it on, Heard It on the Radio, Vol. 2.

Heard It on the Radio, Vol. 2 is out of print but it is easier to find a used copy of on ebay or other sources if you look hard enough."
