Hits and No Misses - This is an excellent CD

"I just got my disc and love it. These boys from Boston should be expecting at least a few of these songs to be on the radio. There are three types of songs here. You have a couple of edgy songs that pump your adrenaline, then you have a few radio hit type songs that will play on rock, alternative rock and some top 40 stations. And then you have everything else.



The "everything else" songs are the songs that you would normally pass over to get your favorite songs (which are usually called B songs). However these songs keep your attention with nuances of emotion and bullets of music styles that you don't usually find. I guess if you'd imagine a standard song (if there is such a thing) and then every now and then tweak some of the songs with a little extra power, a little extra emotion and something more to remember you get "everything else" on the CD. So basically the disc has hits and no misses because everything on it that's not an obvious hit is likely going to be the songs you end of loving more than the hits that will come from this CD. I highly recommend it!

Coincidently the songs Far Away and One Last Time Around tie together nicely because they seem to continue a story. It's actually scary how close they hit home and mirror my own experiences in life. Check them out but if you want to see how they tie together, listen to One Last Time Around first and then Far Away. When you're done, Therapy will cheer you up and get your adrenaline pumping! ;) I hope you enjoy it!"

"Craving Lucy's debut is a gem of an album and shows us what rock is all about. The lyrics are thoughtful, insightful and are delivered by Steve Archambault's incredible voice. Musically, guitarist Mark Fitzpatrick, bassist Craig Spear and drummer Mike Ostuni give stellar performances, creating CL's unique sound with crisp production. The album runs the gamut - from hard-hitting fist-pumping rockers to mid-tempo songs, and the album's acoustic closer (One Last Time Around)is brilliant in it's stripped down delivery. The melodies and overall feel of this album will have you listening to it over and over again - trust me! If you like rock done right, then I highly recommend this album!"

"Out of the mundane haze that is today's Contemporary Rock, comes Craving Lucy with a breath of fresh air. Their self-titled debut CD delivers songs with meaningful, emotional lyrics, sophisticated musical arrangements and is the stuff that only experience and hard work can produce. There are AT LEAST 6 or 7 songs that will appeal to the masses - Collide, I'm Alive, Strong Enough, One Last Time Around, Far Away, So Far Down and Remember to name a few. Harder edged songs like Therapy, In Too Deep, Watch Over Me and Color Blind will appeal to those who have ever been angered by love, fueled by lust or have had their hearts ripped out. From thundering bad [?] tunes to melodic ballads, there is something for every Rock aficionado on this CD. After a few listens, you will undoubtedly find yourself humming these tunes and "craving" to hear more....."
