CD ReviewsA must! Charles Wilder | Dover, NH United States | 05/30/2002 (5 out of 5 stars) "Just the "Carnegie Hall" cuts are worth the price of the CD! Some great stuff here. The Country Gentlemen kicked off the second generation of Bluegrass in grand style! It was almost as if they knew they had to be good. The band has always had high standards and it's very evident on these cuts. All the Carnegie Hall songs are first rate. Not a clinker in the bunch. And the rest of the cuts show the Gent's high standards also. I very much like both Duffey and Haddock's dobro work! I love Josh but it's fun to hear other dobro players from that time. If you don't own any of the older Country Gentlemen albums this would be a great one to start with. Now, if they would just release on CD the old album on the "Design" label......................"
