CD Reviews

Symphonic Metal at its best

(5 out of 5 stars)

"A quote from Turnbull. "The production is top notch giving the songs a heavy and yet expansively accessible sound". This is a good album considering there are so many symphonic bands out there that don't give you value for your money. Listen to the sampler and decide for yourself."
FINALLY SOMETHING DIFFERENT
wisu_dj32 | Terre Haute, Indiana USA | 08/01/2008
(4 out of 5 stars)

"First, I should say that I have spent 20 years listening to Death/Black Metal and have only recently begun to explore the world of Symphonic Metal, and for the most part have been impressed with the bands that I have heard so far in my exploration of the genre.

I was impressed with this band. I will admit that they do have some growing to do, but in a genre saturated with bands that, for the most part, sound the same, it is nice to hear something that brings a new sound to Symphonic Metal. The blend of operatic vocals and clean vocals adds a nice contrast.

Overall, this has made a nice addition to my growing collection of Symphonic Metal.

Of course, I downloaded this album as an MP3 because no matter how good a CD is, there is no way that I am going to pay over $20 for it."
