A very dynamic, colourful and exciting recording of this rarely recorded work. The first movement bounds along with great energy and the rest of the work is very good. This recording made me reconsider Mozart and it brought me face to face with his music on 18th century instruments.
A very elegant recording. Why have so few Early Music orchestras considered this work? It is a mystery to me! I love the Haffner Serenade!" |
