CD Reviews

Just amazing..

"i bought this album when it first arrived on shelves, and this is probably one of the best albums i own. 'the rescue' breaks every boundary placing codeseven in their own genre of music. something definitely worth buying, and something definitely worth sharing with a friend. i almost feel as if i'm cheating the band by only paying so much for the album."
Easily one of the best bands out there.

"Codeseven is one of the best bands I've ever come across. This is music that takes you to a better place, in other words good music. It makes the music genres that are popular today seem ridiculous and worthless. I am a member of your audience Codeseven, Rock on."
Once again, Codeseven blows me....away

"The Rescue has been released almost 3 years since their last cd. Over that time, Dave Owen left the band (reasons still unknown)which left Codeseven with the ability to redefine themselves. Which is exactly what they did. Instead of placing emo on top of hardcore, they are delving into a whole new genre. Some call it Space Rock, others call it 'psychadelic post punk'. There still remains emo-ish screams, but without them, it wouldn't be the same band, or the same music. Codeseven has once again broken boundaries by putting together an album with original sound (none of this nickleback, lifehouse, the calling ...). Some people remain in waiting until Codeseven go completely soft, while others are patiently waiting for a complete turn around. I personally would love for them to put out some completely instrumental songs, or even just produce some instrumental versions of some past songs. But that is only one hearts desire..."
