An excellent instrumental garage "jazz-like" album w/four classically untrained guys distilling their favorite bits of Mingus, Sun Ra, Blakey & Miles into a cohesive work that was too rock for the jazz intelligensia & waaaay too jazz for the pop/rock crowd at the time. As usual, they were either way past their time, or way ahead of it.
