"With a style and physical appearance bearing more than a passing resemblance to that of Terence Trent D'Arby, Dupont is not nearly as musically gifted as TTD, but still lays down a solid set of groovy, funky R&B that has more of an "organic" feel to it than much of the black popular music of the period. Always positive and optimistic, with uplifting subject matter set against fresh, earthy beats, Dupont deserves some respect and certainly some rediscovery for this mature effort."
