Now, this is what I call an artist album!

"23 Seconds is just about the perfect electronic artist album. Not only do you get a 72 minute CD full of intoxicating, jazz infused minimal and tech house, but as a bonus, you also get a 2nd 68 minute disc, which features a stunning, continuously mixed line-up of live performed tracks. Two of them are exclusive to the live mix, and not found on the 1st CD. Unlike how Amazon lists it here, the live tracks are named and have track stops.
To top things off, the final two bonus tracks on disc 2 are the group's biggest 2 tracks of the past year, Dump Truck, and the fantastic Middle Eastern vibe track, India In Me. This is one of my favorite tracks of the past 5 years, and I'm glad it's included here in all it's 13 minute and 42 second glory.
For the price and for the 150 minutes of content, this is a must have purchase, not to mention it's one of the best jazzy techno artist albums around."
Fantabulous!

"I have only listened to about 70% of the first disc and should probably wait until I finish that disc and listen to the second before writing a review, but I like the music so much, I am jumping the gun. If you like Moodymann, Kenny Larkin, the Belleville 3, Carl Craig, or the album "The Detroit Experiment." you need to buy this two disc set ASAP. At times, Cobblestone Jazz are doing techno the way it used to be done in the 80s. Then you have a number of deep house tracks that containing solos that sound inspired by Miles Davis circa [...] Brew. Every track is top quality. If you are primarily a jazz purist you probably will not be impressed, however. My guess is that this music is clearly aimed at fans of real techno music and deep jazzy house music. Of course no harm done if a jazz head checks it out. They may like it too."
