Since 2004 Cloudscape has made the prestigious Roastinghouse Studios in Malmö,
Sweden their studio home for all four of their albums to date. Cloudscape continues to
progress with each record, breaking new boundaries in their style and have continued to mature in their writing. 'New Era' (2012) the bands fourth album is without a doubt the band s most crowning accomplishment to date.
Cloudscape's compositional ambitions have always bridged progressive metal and
straightforward melodic rock/metal, creating music accessible to a wider audience by virtue of its intense melody, but with enough complexity to satiate the ears of casual and serious music enthusiasts. The band's following grew daily and steadily, amassing various credentials along the way; Cloudscape has performed at highly acclaimed metal festivals: the prestigious
Sweden Rock (Sweden), Bloodstock (UK), ProgPower EU-Netherlands, ProgPower Scandinavia (Denmark), and Norway Metal Heart festival, has produced several professional music videos
together with director Rainer Holmgren, and continues to tour extensively. Despite a short hiatus to work on side projects and the departures of founding members, the band's core membership and ambition are as solid as ever. All involved anticipate a new era, during which this monster attracts the attention of fans and critics alike, with bated breath.
