CD Reviews

An oldie but goodie

"This was one of the first CDs I bought when I got born again. I was a rocker, but I had no idea there was Christian rock. I thought Clay Crosse was as rockin' as Christians got. (I know better now!) Yet, I keep coming back to this CD. Sure, I like to rock most of the time, but there's something about this disc that just keeps calling me back."
A Great Album

"For whatever reason, Christian radio stations do not often play old Clay Crosse songs. This is really a shame, because his music is introspective, soothing, and very, very good. The songs on this album can be broken down into two main themes. The first theme is about God's love ("His Love's Comin Over Me," "His Love is Strong," "Love From the Sweetest Cup," and "God is Love"). The second theme is about our love for God ("I Found Myself in You," "I Turn to You," and "Given My Love"). These two themes compliment each other very well, since our love for God comes from God's love for us.As good as all the songs are in this album, I do have two favorites. "Time To Believe" is a reminder that when we are going through a difficult time, when there doesn't appear to be any way out for us, it is time to believe in the One who loves us. We often try to find our own way out of our problems, and this song reminds us that we don't have to. We just have to believe. My favorite song is "The Rock (That Was Rolled Away)." This song is a reminder that we need to make Jesus Christ the cornerstone of our faith. This is a great album to buy and enjoy for years to come."
I keep picking this one back up!

"Although this was one of the first CDs I ever started out with, I keep coming back to it, especially "His Love is Comin' Over Me." It's just a great CD, and Clay is as dynamic in person as his music is. Keep it up, buddy!"
