CD ReviewsHastily assembled, but remarkably cohesive and lovely jon sieruga | Redlands, CA USA | 12/09/2002 (4 out of 5 stars) "For what it is--a patchwork of different tracks from the early '70's--"Sugar Me" sounds surprisingly like a cohesive studio album. The title track(also, curiously, recorded by Nancy Sinatra around this time)is kind of a lame tune, but "Who Broke Your Heart"(credited to 'unknown')and "You Set My Dreams To Music" are blissful. "You Don't Have To Be A Baby" shows Claudine's playful side, as does the nearly-nude photo on the back cover! Claudine's singing career hit the wall soon after these sessions were completed, so it is her farewell performance. As such, it must be included in any fan's collection." Hodgepodge but nice R. Riis | NY | 12/13/2001 (4 out of 5 stars) "1972-1975 singles, B-sides, and previously unreleased tracks cobbled together. Stylistically diverse, but generally good songs and performances. Not essential, but Longet fans will definitely want to own this to round out their collections."
