A great band with historic vocalist Orlando Roberson

"Hopkins was swinging early on with capable crew, but Orlando Roberson was truly a pre- Bill Kenny (of the Ink Spots) type vocalist a few years ahead of Bill. I think he had some influence on Bill's style, and the irony is that in the late 50's he was the lead in Ink Spots groups. Does anyone know more about him?"
