Synopsis

Album Description
Rock music without guitars -- Clatter, a two-piece band from Missouri, plays rock music on bass and drums, topping it off with female vocals. The songs are rhythmically mind-bending while maintaining a catchy, melodic feel. From all-out rockers like "Left Out" and "Starve," to tunes you want to sing along to like "Just Like You" and "Forgive 'n' Forget," there's something here for everyone -- even a song in Russian!

Guitar? We don't need no stinkin' guitar!

(4 out of 5 stars)

"How to explain Clatter in a mathematical equation? Multiple layers of clean, distorted, and effected bass + acoustic and electronic drums and percussion + pink-haired vocals = tasty goodness. :-) The combination of Amy's split-signal bass and Joe's acoustic drums and triggered samples makes this duo sound far bigger than they've any right to be, and they write great songs to boot! I'd certainly pay good money to see them take out The White Stripes in a cage match."
