One of the great funky blues party album of all time.

"Everybody more or less remembers CC's top 40s tune "Patches" and oldies radio stations seem to always include it in their weekly repertiore....no disrespect intended to those stations, but hey, 20 or 30 years after that hit, CC put out what I would consider classic urban blues jams--"Strokin'", "Love Me With A Feeling", "Dr. CC"--mostly performed via solo multitracking multiinstrumentalizing--rare for a blues star, rarer for anyone this side of Stevie Wonder and Prince. This man has one great voice...and a devilish laugh. This album has all of CC recent recordings on the Ichiban Label--excellent for parties and roadhouse get togethers."

"Clarence Carter is super bad musically.his voice ain't no joke. the music is Bar B-Que flavored for sure.Stroking alone is a gem.he will crack you up but also get your respect with his music ability."
