Album Description

Clarence Bucaro's Burnside Records debut comes three years after he scraped together enough money working at the local record store to record a demo featuring six songs. With New Orleans blues artist Anders Osborne as producer; a guest appearance by folksinger Eliza Gilkyson; and a multi-talented backing band, Bucaro created a beautifully crafted album. Features twelve original songs highlighting Bucaro's distinct brand of roots music, excellent songwriting, and smooth, easygoing vocal style.

"Clarence Bucaro and Sweet Corn is so pleasant to hear, it is unbelievable.His style is so original, and so smooth. his vocal sare extremely soulful, and his writing is very thoughtful. The producer, Anders Osborne also adds some great background vocals. the best tracks are "Gardens of Love," "Sweet Laurel," "Sad Lament" and "I AM A Refugee." I recommend this album to anyone who likes folk, blues, jazz, or country because his style is too big to fit any of these genres. this is a must-have!"

"I'm in no way a blues/bluegrass fan, whatsoever. But I was borrowing my friends car for the weekend, and clarence bucaro's cd was in the player. It's very soothing. I especially like Sweet Laurel. The vocals are amazing. Such a talented young guy. And very cute! (check out his website). So I definatly recommend this cd for anyone that just wants to relax and enjoy some good guitar riffs and soothing vocals."
