Live At Castle Party 2010 is the title of the legendary Dark Wave / Gothic formation CLAN OF XYMOX newest output! The package contains CD and DVD will be released in digipack format on BIG BLUE. In 1983, ANKE WOLBERT and RONNY MOORINGS, who is the mastermind behind this band, founded CLAN OF XYMOX (only XYMOX in the beginning). Inspiration came from bands like EEINSTÜRZENDE NEUBAUTEN and DAF on the one hand and the British Goth scene with BAUHAUS, THE SISTERS OF MERCY and VIRGIN PRUNES on the other. The fi rst albums Clan Of Xymox (1985) and Medusa (1986) and one of the legendary John Peel Sessions helped the band for a fast international breakthrough in the Darkwave scene. Synth-Pop sounds were moving into the sound of the band, which is still one of the best of the genre and had numerous scene hits like Imagination, This World or Out Of The Rain . After the critical acclaim thirteenth studio album, Darkest Hour this new release follows with a recording of their performance at the Castle Party in 2010.
