Outstanding Performance

"At work I listen to New Age music via Internet radio. Basically, it's background "noise" to help me concentrate. However, one song in particular caught my attention - enough to make me stop what I was doing, research the singer and order the CD (with fingers crossed). I was not disappointed. Words that come to mind when I listen to "Galileo" are haunting, lilting, melodic, romantic. It is everything I look for in Celtic/New Age music and then some. I do not speak French - but that has not deterred me one iota from enjoying Celtic music sung in French by the lovely voice of Claire Pelletier. It doesn't get better, and I cannot wait to buy more by this artist. My complaint? I wish I could find out more about her, but all the Internet sites I've found are in French. Definitely a must buy for folks who enjoy music by Loreena McKennett, Enya, Clannad, and Sarah McCloughlin."
Pelletier's Second Album Is As Good As Her First

"While living in Quebec City, I came upon the music of Claire Pelletier through her first album Murmures d'Histoire, in which she covered such topics as Plato's The Cave (in La Caverne) to a scene in Don Quixote (in Marcelle et Chrysostome). Her second album is just as diverse and wonderfully done. My favourite song on this album is Kabir Kouba mostly because of the tempo/sound of the song and not so much due to the topic. Pelletier has a magnificent voice that does not need any musical backdrop to showcase her talent. I highly recommend this album to anyone who likes New Age music, folk music, French music, or anyone who appreciates a terrific singer."
Rejuvenates the Spirit - even if you don't know French

"I was in a little cafe in Montreal having brunch with my partner with this album playing as background music. The intoxicating medley and invigorating vocal talent of the first few songs sent me directly to the nearest music store to purchase this must-have album. I highly recommend Ms. Claire Pelletier to anyone who appreciates the unique and empowering sound of other strong female artists like Sarah McLachlan or Enya."
