Synopsis

Album Description

Chucknee is a instrumental band hailing from Brisbane's inner-city haunts. Their particular kooky brand of twangy surf, lounge, exotica together with a less-than-serious stage show has won them plenty of fan's north of the Tweed. This enjoyable leftfield diversion from the usual Turkyneck garage fare will appeal to fan's of Dick Dale, the Raybeats and classic surf bands of the 60's on. Mr Chucknee himself is a top notch riffin' guitarist who's also a member of the internationally touring contemporary Deep Blue orchestra.
