Cannon is the son and grandson of preachers, and he knows a few things that preachers know, like how to hold people's attention. I saw him live recently, and he had the audience completely in his hand. It's also clear that he knows things that preachers know about the dark side of life, and that's what this collection is about. He isn't preaching, though, just telling it like he sees it. Cannon reports, and you think about it."
