CD ReviewsClassic Chuck with a more modern flavor bigtom-dc | 03/31/1999 (4 out of 5 stars) "When you listen to Chuck, especially if you grew up listening to him like most native Washingtonians under the age of 40, you expect a cool mellow groove with hints of "get up and move". This album is like an attempt to go a little more mainstream as is evidenced by the cut used as the theme song for Sinbad's show (circa 1997). The cut "Saturday Night Fish Fry" is more reminicient of "classic" Chuck Brown. Overall I think the album is a very good piece of work, but I'd still rather see Chuck live and catch a "true groove"."
