Synopsis

Album Description
Coming from nowhere, Canadian four-piece Nickelback have evolved into one of the biggest bands in music today. But, as with many supposed overnight success stories, their seemingly rapid ascendancy has been far from easy. From the early days as an unorthodox bar band to masters of heartfelt, anthemic heavy rock, it?s been a long and difficult road to the top. However their reputation has gradually spread through word of mouth, thanks to a relentless touring schedule of over two hundred live shows a year. Building success the hard way has won Nickelback the respect of both their fans and their peers. From nothing, to multi-platinum sales, Nickelback ?The Road To Success? now tells the complete and unauthorised story behind the band?s sensational fame for the first time. Using interviews with their closest colleagues and footage from throughout their career, this is a great addition to every fan?s collection.

"I ordered this thinking it was music from Nickelback and to my dismay found it was only history of the band. No where in the description of the cd did it say it was only words and no music until I received the cd and it read so on the back. I sent it back for a credit. Did not want to add this to my "music" collection. If I want to know a biography about a band I will read a book or magazine."
