"At the Cathedral of St. John the Divine is an excellent CD. It does not, however, rate as high with me as Christopher Tree's first CD, "Spontaneous Sound." Suggest you purchase Spontaneous Sound if you are into gongs and tripped out sounds . You'll like it. With both CD's, it is best to listen to them when you are in a "meditative' mood. Use head phones to really appreciate the experience of Christopher Tree. Incidentally, Christopher Tree is still performing (2008) and is as great now as he was in the 60's when Spontaneous Sound was recorded. Unfortunately, it is difficult to find venues such as the Nuart Theatre in Los Angeles, that provides late night concerts (for a reasonable price) for those of us who enjoy the sounds and the musical expertise of Christopher Tree! There is NOBODY past or present, who has the talent of Christopher Tree. He is representative of the "best" of the 1960's! "More power to you Christopher....Keep on showing these kids what a hip 70 year old can do!""
