CD ReviewsBreak our hearts... obijokkenobi | Australia | 03/14/2000 (5 out of 5 stars) "Chris Franke does break out hearts too. As JMS states in the sleeve notes, "Break our Hearts", Chris Franke delivers. From the quiet opening, to the first, fatal contact with the Minbari, to the Battle of the Line, one can easily remember the images from the movie. Full of action and quiet emotional music, In The Beginning is by far the best Babylon 5 TV Movie. The War and The Battle of the Line are 2 of the best pieces on this CD. The War, containing Irish Bag-pipes (I think) to the final battle in the war above Earth, Franke excels himself. If you don't have this CD, get it. It's worth every cent." Wonderfully depressing and uplifting in turns. obijokkenobi | 09/30/1998 (5 out of 5 stars) "He transports you away to the place where you see struggle. A place where you can feel the power of those willing to die for a cause. The destruction of humanity is too many times covered in crashing symbols and large explosions. Franke's music allows you to realize the horror of death and destruction." Breathtaking Sheila D. Young | Washington, USA | 09/27/1998 (5 out of 5 stars) "Music should capture the spirit, the soul, of a story. Christopher Franke has done so. To say I would highly recommend this CD is an understatement."
