Christmas songs are available in all music genres: Classic, Jazz, Rock, Latin and many more and they have been played throughout many centuries. For many people, these songs bring up childhood memories with the family, school and choir. For others it's anticipated joy for a feast with the family, for presents, snow, parties with friends, nice meals and mulled claret. For me, these songs are wonderful compositions, which I interpret in new reharmonized Jazz and Pop frames. It was great fun recording these German and international Christmas songs with my "Jazz­Trio" collegues Kurt and André. I hope you have just as much fun listening to the songs.
