The Ultimate Christmas Party Album!

""Christmas Dance Party" is the second US-only Jive Bunny album to be released, and one of their best to date. It's really an updated version of "Jive Bunny's Christmas Party" and "Spectacular Christmas" (both good albums in their own right). Even so, "Christmas Dance Party" ommits some of the slower Yuletide classics and replaces them with not only tracks you want to dance to, but more modern songs too. So basically, this is an aptly named CD. I doubt there's anyone out there who hasn't heard the songs featured in sampled form on "Christmas Dance Party", although some were only released in the UK. Still, if you've ever heard the albums "Now That's What I Call Christmas" and "The Best Christmas Album In The World Ever!", you'll probably recognise the tracks Jive Bunny has decided to use.Most tracks are lifted from the 1970s when it was traditional for chart acts to release festive singles (how times have changed). Even so, the 70s produced some fine Christmas songs, and the best of the bunch are featured here. Like all other Jive Bunny albums - sans only a few - sound-a-likes are used to recreate the songs, but you'd be hard pushed to notice that. The mixing qualities alongside the production values are top notch too, making this one of the best Jive Bunny albums you're likely to hear. And because it's reasonably priced too, this is surely a welcome addition to your CD collection - and a guaranteed crowd pleaser come the Holiday Season. Jon"

"I do not understand how the reviewer, Blueicarus, talks. The track listing on this release is identical to Jive Bunny's Christmas Party, which I own. Christmas Party is a great album, so this one will be the same. However, I believe on the collectible market, you can purchase Christmas Party for less money, so I would highly recommend getting that release."
