The choir respond well to [Richard Marlow's] direction and give some fine, shapely performances." -- MusicWeb International "One of the world's greatest choirs." -- ClassicsToday Cambridge's Trinity College Choir is a world-famous mixed choir with over 40 CD recordings. Their first recording on Gothic, featuring Edward Elgar's choral music, includes some of the finest examples of English Romantic music, performed to perfection as only an English choir can! This is one of Richard Marlow's last recordings as Director of Music at Trinity. His innovative career at Trinity spans almost 40 years, where he has also been active as an editor, scholar, and journalist. He has been a visiting professor at universities in Tokyo, Texas, New England, and New Zealand.

Choral Music of Edward Elgar

(1 out of 5 stars)

"I never have received this CD. After waiting and waiting for the arrival of this CD I finally received an email saying "...sorry, this supplier no longer sells with us..." or words to that effect.

If you cared about good customer service I should have been offered another way to purchase this CD in the easiest possible way...not the curt email I received. Come on you guys! There are plenty of other places I can spend my money. In this economic climate I would think you would be doing everything possible to make sure my money was spent with you.

Very disappointed with Amazon.com.
