Synopsis

Album Description
Emil Klein achieved an international reputation on his concert tours of Europe, the US, and Africa. He appears as a soloist with orchestras such as the Hamburg Symphony Orchestra and the Bucharest Radio Symphony Orchestra. Alongside his solo career, he spends time playing chamber music and in 1990 founded the chamber orchestra "Hamburg Soloists." Taking advantage of the scholarship given by the Studienstiftung des Deutschen Volkes in 1970, Arnulf von Arnim studied with Pierre Sancan, Jürgen Uhde, Dora Metzger, and Günter Louegk. He attended master classes by Claudio Arrau and Wilhelm Kempff. Apart from his career as a soloist and chamber music interpreter, von Arnim teaches at the conservatory in Frankfurt since 1977, and at the conservatory of Dortmund since 1980. In 1989, he founded the International Summer Academy of Cervo/Italy.
