A Fantastic Record, but Boil the Breakfast Early is better

"This album just doesn't have quite the same snap and verve as Boil the Breakfast Early. If you have to chose, try that one instead. Having said that, this is still a fantastic album with great performances and arrangements. The early Chieftans never fail to dazzle with the overall quality of their musicianship. Too many other performers of Irish music are interested in slogging through a parade of standards rather than bringing something new to the game."
