It was recorded over January and February 2003 at the Carriage House recording studio just outside Philadelphia, PA. Born and raised just outside Philadelphia, PA, Chickpeas bridge a high energy rock performance with a classic rock musical styling and never fail to impress, surprise, and entertain. Containing 13 tracks of original music, the self-released "Lickety Split" shows off Chickpeas diverse musical style, humor, and influences. The album rolls along from the bouncy 'Chicks Dig It' to the poignant 'Rock Stars Are Dead' and doesn't stop anywhere in between.
