CD ReviewsSTOP! Don't listen to it! Stephen | Chicago | 08/06/2003 (1 out of 5 stars) "This CD is an imposter masqerading as a real Showboat soundtrack. These people have taken the Robert Russel Bennet symphonic arrangements and have turned them into a sound that is akin to holding your finger on a record so that is slows to an agonizing tempo distorting the whole sound. It was horrible that the music is performed in a 20's jazz style, sung far to improvisationally and with a hint of blues. Oh and the SALSA! WHAT? I have performed in the Show myself and know the music and love it and was disgusted with this attemt at performing great music. DON'T BY THIS CD!"
