"Probably the very best recordings by Chet Baker its a shame those who re-ssued these 1954 recordings could not go the distance and give us 20 recorded hits instead of 10, but "Tenderly" alone is "worth the ticket" on this one.This CD will delight all big band and jazz lovers. Chet's version of "A Foggy Day", "Mythe", the super classic "Tenderly", "Worrying the Life Out of Me", "Chet", "Not too Slow", "Phil's Blues", "Dinah", "Darn that Dream" and "V-Line" will make this album a favorite among your jazz collection. A masterpiece from the end of the era of the jazz bands or big bands, whatever name you prefer to call that magnificent yesteryear musical ensemble. If you're a big/jazz band fan, do not miss this one."
