A multicultural musical story/play about children from different cultures and abilities who gradually learn to appreciate each other's similarities and differences, and begin to invite others to join their one day in world peace campaign. This story is entertaining and educational. It advocates diversity celebration, nonviolent conflict-resolution, earth consciousness, teamwork, citizenship, love, respect, tolerance, humor, joy and peace on earth. "World Peace-The Children's Dream" was written and performed by Cheryl Melody, and adapted from the children's story, "One Day in Peace," written by Silverstein and Diamond. The intention of this story is to give children hope that one day we truly can learn ways to live in a world of peace. School Library Journal applauds this CD!
