The devil is back - stronger than ever

"Good lord, this CD smokes! This is one of the stronger albums released by the CDB in a while, but it's worth the wait. Everone is playing like never before. Charlie comes up with some of the best lyrics and singin' of his amazing career. Best track:Across the Line, CDB meets Skynyrd/Allman Brothers Band, great solo's. Way to go boys!"

If you can't run with the Road Dogs, get off the porch.

"Charlie and the band do an excellent job of playing great Southern Rock on this album. The style is definately more hard-edged than other albums they've made. While the album absolutely doesn't fit in with what Nashville considers country today, it is consistant with the style of music the CDB has been putting out over the last few albums, such as "Tailgate Party" and "Blues Hat." The lyrics are thoughtful and to the point. Contains "The Martyr," about the girl at Columbine who stood up for her faith, and "Ain't No Law In California" about the hard side of Los Angeles after dark. It's a great ride with these Road Dogs."
