Then along came Cecilia Noel and The Wild Clams. I'm such a fan I even wrote the band to encourage them to keep the music coming, and to my surprise I got a reply from Cecilia herself...(thinking about putting it in a nice frame)! This band and their knock-out lead singer generate such energy and excitement you will think you are at a live concert just listening to the CD. Wanna have a good time? The couple of live cuts are fantastic. The rest of it's studio, but man, it's all got energy. That Latin sound. There's lots of great brass to dance to, along with some funky flute, and some excellent guitar work. Those Wild Clams are truly amazing musicians.And Cecilia? She's got a great big voice, and she knows how to use it. Soft or loud, those lilting Latin rhythms are worth listening to all day. Spanish, English, whatever. Te recomiendo que... buy this cd.
