Cece delivers!

"I've been searching. I've been waiting and I'm now glad to say that my search and patience has yielded what I consider 2008's first "must have" project of the year.

If you enjoyed previous releases by Cece Winans, specifically "Throne Room" and/or "Alabaster Box", then "Thy Kingdom Come" is sure to speak to you regardless of your level of maturity in Christ at this point in time.

Over the years, I have interviewed and talked with countless gospel music artists and I've had the pleasure of conversing with Cece on numerous occasions and the one thing that has always (and still) remains prominent in her character is this young lady's love for Jesus Christ and His word! I've told friends, if there is anyone surely to reside in Heaven one day and get a thumbs up from God, it will be Cece Winans.

Thy Kingdom Come has an Urban Gospel flavor and is straight up Praise & Worship. Any given Sunday, any given church could just simply put this CD on and let the congregation wail to God. It's a powerful project with some heavyweight production elements, namely Luther "Mano" Hanes, Tommy Sims, Percy Bady, the dynamic duo of Vic and Ced Caldwell, Christopher Capehart, Brannon Tunie and Cece's son, Alvin III. Of the beautifully produced 14 songs on this effort, Cece wrote and co-wrote 8 of them and the intimacy with her Lord shines throughout. As did I, you too will probably enjoy every selection. Thy Kingdom Come is well produced and engineered and speaks well of Cece's ministry as she speaks well of her Lord. This is Cece's 8th. solo project and she continues to sing with that passion that has compelled so many to consider a walk with The Saviour.

My faves on this project include, "Waging War," "Holy Father," the reggae spiced, "Worthy," the very up-tempo, "It Ain't Over," the prayerful "Bless His Holy Name," "You're The One," her son's simple, light-hearted, but potent track, "The Coast Is Clear" and "Falling In Love."

In this season, when our nation and world is facing various issues and many, even in the body of Christ, are wavering, Thy Kingdom Come is a timely gift from God, given to Cece Winans and offered to you and I. Do hear the message!"
Praise and Honor to GOD

"Having read the reviews of some about this CD not moving them is LUDICROUS. CeCe is NOT singing to them, she is singing to her LORD and SAVIOUR!!!!! Having listened to it for the first time I felt that way too (I wanted to hear her full voice), but after LISTENING more closely this is HER best work yet. EVERY song moves me to WORSHIP and PRAISE my HEAVENLY FATHER. I play this CD to and from work and I get my praise on!!!!! Cece's latest endeavors have taught me it is more about worship and praise than just making me feel good. CeCe is the STANDARD BEARER for gospel music and I am blessed to be able to hear her GLORIFYING the FATHER! THIS IS A MUST BUY FOR THOSE WHO WANTS TO BE TRULY UPLIFTED (not about you), AND THEREFORE UPLIFT OUR HEAVENLY FATHER!!!!! If I could rate this 10 stars, I would. CeCe, keep on singing and I will keep on buying your glorious music!!!!!"
You gotta be kidding, this is a wonderful praise & worship d

"A praise and worship fest giving God all of the glory that is due His name alone. My favorites include The coast is clear, The test of time, It ain't over, Bless His Holy Name, Worthy, Forever, We Welcome You and you get the idea. A Five Star special and one of CeCe's best right up there with Alone in His Presence and Throne Room. The music doesn't have to blow you away to be good gospel music, it just needs to praise Him."
