If you've only heard To Serve Man or Humanure, then you'd be in for something of a surprise with this one. There's not really any death metal leaning at all here. It's pretyt much pure goregrind. Some of the songs are mediocre, admittedly, but almost all of them are awesome, with a handful that are straight up brilliance.
The vocals are the usual mix of deep growls with a rasping little scream from the other Cattle albums. The guitar work is brilliant, the drumming beautiful. You can't go wrong with this album." |
